First let me thank you for spending what is obviously a great deal of time on your site. I had the pleasure of seeing Elton John last night live at the House of Blues in New Orleans. I was curious what I may find if I searched for "Elton John" and "albums" and your site came up first on the list. I was indeed impressed, finding much more than I had hoped for. Many thanks for making the Elton John discography site - and for listing all the lyrics. I especially want to thank you for including the lyrics for Candle in the Wind, the "Goodbye England's Rose" version, so promptly. The funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales, was in all a very touching ceremony, but Elton John's song was what made it so.. well, different.. and quite unforgettable.
I've printed out the lyrics, to show them to those of my friends, who didn't catch every word while watching the funeral on TV, and those who just want to know.. Thanks again!

I heard "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" on the radio today and it really touched me. I am not that familliar with Elton John's work, though I do remember our grade 6 class singing "Crocodile Rock" with the music teacher back in '83 or '84. I, sadly, do not have my own computer and so accesed your site through the text only terminals @ my local library.... and therfore didn't get to view your site in full glory. However, THANK-YOU. I've been following your web site for about a year and a half-- I can't remember, but I think I found out about it off the 22nd Row. I always thought it was a great site. The 'import' section is especially helpful (esp. since the 22nd Row isn't much help in this area). Sometimes if I stumble across an import title, it's not always possible to determine a track listing.But I always know I can find it here-- same for lyrics.
