I just wanted to say thanks, and to tell you that you just sold a CD. I've been going crazy trying to find out the name of the EJ song that contains the lyrics, "...butterflies are free to fly..." and a search engine sent me to your page, where I found the title in about 30 seconds.

I just discovered your website. I am a big fan of Elton's from the early seventies. I believe that Elton is the greatest singer of our time, actually of all time. I wanted to tell you that I went to other music artists' sites and this one by far is the BEST that I have ever seen. I am a BIG Elton John fan, ok maybe not that big I only have his greatest hits albums, I love his music especially "Made In England" and "The Big Picture", those are my favorites. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I finally found out the name of the album that The Last Song is on and discovered what the title of the song actually is.
I saw the video for the first time when I was home with my new son (who is now almost a grown man) and I think it is the most beautiful video ever made (beautiful story line). I hear the song occassionally on the light rock station that I listen to at work but they never seem to give the title of the song. I look at Elton John CD's and cassettes in the stores but because I wasn't positive of the title of the song I probably wouldn't have bought it even if I did find it. I heard it on the radio this morning again and once again the announcer didn't say the name of the song so I told my co-worker that I'm going to go on the Internet and find out what the heck that song is and where I can get it. Now that I have the title and the album name I can order it if it's not in the store.

A million thanks for the lyrics part of the EJ Discography web site. So many of these lyrics have passed right over my head for so long!! I've bought numerous cassettes in recent years where the wrappers, which should have contained lyrics included in the original vinyl/CD, had been reduced to a cheesy (or "chay-see") piece of folded paper (to wit: Greatest Hits) I've recently been buying Rocket's remastered CD, and thank heavens all the lyrics and art are in the booklet inserts! But your site still helps fill in the gaps on duets and other releases! Much thanks!

Thanks for the lyrics search function on your Elton site. It helped us identify a song requested by a desperate listener, who could only recite a few words. Armed with nothing more than "I guess I misjudged love," we were able to identify "The Last Song," from the album "The One," within seconds. SECONDS! Great functionality. I recently worked the lakland fla. Elton concert and I will admit that in the last 6 yrs of working security for many concert and other shows the fans for Elton where the most well behaved that I have ever worked. I worked the stage and worked directly with Eltons main security man Dennis , he was very laid back and easy to work for, I have always liked Eltons music so it was a double pleasure to work his show! I don't know about you but I am so into Elton and Bernie I need to let you know how cool this site is to me. I own at least 30 CD's and albums of Reg Dwight and not all have the words to the songs. So much go into his stuff that its hard to make sense of it all. I dig this! I have been following him since I was 13 or 14 and I'm now 40, and he just gets better. I'm in Tucson and I was exstatic when he decided to come! Imagine, Elton in concert in Tucson! Of course it was sold out to a grand total of 9500! Not a bad seat in the house. I took a real close female friend with me and we fell in love! With Elton playing in the background...way, way cool. I still believe I'll meet him someday, somehow, somewhere. I just missed him in LA when he was at Gucci's. He just left as I entered and could only see him drive away. I still get goose bumps when I hear his music. I could go on but you've probably heard enough.
